USAID/GUINEA IS ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION:     

DRIVER

Position is open to all Guinean nationals and those eligible for permanent residence and authorization to work in Guinea

JOB ANNOUNCEMENT NUMBER: SOL-72067522R10006

BASIC FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

This position is located in the Office of the Director, USAID/Guinea and Sierra Leone in Conakry, Guinea. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the USAID/Guinea and Sierra Leone Mission Director dedicated driver using regular or armored vehicles. Duties include driving the Mission Director and authorized personnel within and outside Conakry, performing minor preventive and maintenance repairs, delivering messages or documents as required.

Education: Completion of secondary school is required.

Work experience:  A minimum of three years of professional driving experience, preferably with an international organization.

Language Proficiency:  Good working knowledge (both written and spoken) English and French are required as driver is expected to attend training that are delivered in English.
